Monitoring one business vs multiple client businesses in ModelSaid
Use ModelSaid Monitor for one business with one primary operator. Use Agency for a multi-client monitoring service, and Agency Pro when that service also needs GitHub-connected AEO pull requests. The difference is not merely slot count: multi-business work requires pooled capacity, team access, white-label delivery, faster technical checks and portfolio governance. See current subscription terms on pricing; prices come from Stripe and should not be copied into a durable comparison.
One business needs depth and clear ownership
Monitor gives one business a scheduled monthly visibility scan, weekly technical monitoring, alerts and twelve months of trends. It supports ten custom prompts, ten custom alert rules, ten content drafts per month, one Google connection, research, reporting, integrations and two on-demand scans per month. This is a coherent setup for an in-house marketer or owner who can review results and coordinate corrections. It is not intended to become an agency portfolio through workarounds.
- Which businesses receive included slots, and when should an extra slot be purchased?
- How are organization-level scan and draft pools prioritized fairly across clients?
- Which teammates can access the account and who owns each alert?
- How will methodology, limitations and next actions be reported consistently?
- Which client facts require approval before content or technical changes are proposed?
Agency creates the multi-business foundation
Agency includes ten business slots and allows paid extra slots as the portfolio expands. It provides five team seats, ten Google connections, thirty enabled custom prompts, fifty content drafts per month, ten on-demand scans per month and fifty alert rules per business. Visibility scans are scheduled monthly and technical monitoring runs daily. Research, reporting and integrations are included, with twelve months of trends. White-label shared reports and PDFs support delivery under the agency's own identity.
Monitor uses a standard grounded scan designed for a single business. Agency and Agency Pro use the full scan template and test both searched and knowledge-only modes. That matrix reveals an important distinction: a client may appear when current web evidence is retrieved yet remain absent from built-in model knowledge, or the reverse. Agencies can turn that difference into a more specific recommendation instead of presenting a single blended score. Provider coverage can extend as the assistant market evolves.
Agency Pro adds implementation capacity
Agency Pro retains ten included businesses and raises team capacity to fifteen seats and on-demand scans to thirty per month. GitHub integration enables Auto Fix: up to two runs per day and eight per month can prepare bounded, validated changes on new branches and open pull requests for review. The system never pushes to the default branch. Choose this tier because clients have reviewable repository work, not simply because it is the highest plan.
Content drafts, on-demand scans and Auto Fix runs are metered at the paying organization level. Ten Agency clients do not each receive ten on-demand scans or fifty drafts. Alert rules are different: Agency allows fifty per business because they are configuration capacity. Establish a service policy that reserves pooled spend for evidenced priorities. Scheduled scans should cover routine measurement; on-demand runs should answer a defined launch, correction or anomaly question.
- Run a free visibility baseline and verify the client's market details.
- Agree on discovery, comparison, branded and accuracy questions.
- Use the schema validator to identify factual markup conflicts.
- Connect analytics only with appropriate client authorization.
- Assign alert owners, reporting dates and escalation rules before monitoring begins.
Choose the operating model that matches the contract
A consultant monitoring only their own company may still fit Monitor. An agency with two clients can justify Agency if white-label reporting, team workflow, daily checks and full-mode analysis matter; it need not wait until business number ten. Conversely, a holding company can use Agency for several owned brands even without external clients. Map the actual number of businesses, reviewers, connections, exception scans and deliverables. Use focused utilities such as the llms.txt generator alongside monitoring, but do not sell technical files as guaranteed AI recommendations. The right plan is the smallest one that supports the promised service without manual fragmentation. Revisit the map whenever clients, seats or reporting commitments change, rather than waiting for capacity pressure to disrupt delivery.
