This privacy policy explains how ModelSaid collects and processes personal data when you use the service.

What data we collect
We collect your email address when you start a visibility check or create an account, along with the business information you provide (business name, industry and city). For paying customers, payment information is processed by Stripe.

Why we process the data
We use the data to deliver visibility checks and reports, send you results and alerts, and manage your subscription.

Marketing email
If you tick the marketing consent box, we occasionally send you email about ModelSaid: product news, AI visibility tips and offers. This is separate from service email such as sign-in links, scan results and alerts, which you receive because you use the service and which continues even if you unsubscribe from marketing. Every marketing message contains a one-click unsubscribe link that works without logging in or contacting us, and you can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. We keep a record of when consent was given and when it was withdrawn for as long as you are subscribed, and for 3 years afterwards, so we can document that the consent was lawfully obtained. The legal basis is your consent.

Processing is carried out to fulfil our agreement with you, and where relevant on the basis of consent or legitimate interest.

Storage and deletion
We store the data for as long as you have an active account, or as long as necessary to deliver the service. You can request deletion at any time.

We use only necessary cookies for login and language selection. We do not sell personal data.

Data processors
We use selected data processors to deliver the service: Stripe for payment, Resend for email, and the AI providers OpenAI, Anthropic and Google to run visibility checks. They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our providers are located outside the EEA. Transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
